SAMSON & MOORE. The 1857-1858 Dubuque City Directory, listed this business at Main below 11th. According to Antique Bottles of Iowa, the firm was operated from 1856-1858 as a partnership between Eben H. Moore and Proctor C. Samson.

The partnership ended in 1858 when Samson purchased the GOOD SAMARITAN DRUG STORE located at 67 Main. Moore became the proprietor of the UP TOWN DRUG STORE at 172 Main.
