MILLS BROTHERS THREE-RING CIRCUS. This circus came to Dubuque in 1949 sponsored by the OXUS CALDRON NO. 4 M.O.W.S. and in 1950 under the sponsorship of the Junior Chamber of Commerce as a fund raising project for its Community Welfare Fund. It was said to be the only show of its kind in the world to carry a regularly ordained minister, Rev. 'Doc' Waddell. He regularly held Sunday school for the children of the five hundred employees.
