LULL, Edward A. (Windsor County, VT, Aug. 24, 1816--Apr. 20, 1884). Lull came west to Dubuque in 1838, but remained here only a short time. He moved to Potosi, Wisconsin in the mining region and remained there until 1843.

He returned to Dubuque County and engaged in business at Cascade several years and at Canton, Jackson County until 1851.

This house was constructed for Edward A. Lull--1330 Locust

Lull permanently settled in Dubuque and engaged in mercantile business and mining. In 1862 he was appointed Assistant Assessor of Internal Revenue and held that office until 1873. When that office was abolished, he was elected cashier of the DUBUQUE COUNTY BANK upon its organization in 1875 and held that position through 1880.

In 1839, Mr. Lull was united in marriage to Miss Harriet Ward, a native of New York.
