KARIGAN'S CAFE. Karigan's Cafe was opened in 1940 by Constantine S. KARIGAN, Theodore Karigan, and their cousin, Andrew KARIGAN. It was later renamed Karigan's Restaurant and then again in 1977 when Pete and Tom Sfikas purchased the property and gave it their family name.

The 1942 Dubuque Classified Business Directory through 1945 Dubuque City Directory listed 401 Central.
