KARIGAN, Andrew. (Messenia, Greece--Dubuque, IA, May 16, 1980). Karigan, in the restaurant business for forty years and founder of the popular KARIGAN'S RESTAURANT, was one of the founders of ST. ELIAS THE PROPHET GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH.
In 1948 he was installed as president of the Key City Chapter No. 261 of the AMERICAN HELLENIC EDUCATIONAL PROGRESSIVE ASSOCIATION (AHEPA). (1)
