GEORGE WILDE AND COMPANY. In 1876 this company was located at a site measuring 114 x 152 feet along Washington Street. Employing nine people, the company cared for fifty-six horses, 8 double carriages, 18 buggies, 2 three-seated wagons, 2 express wagons, 5 double sleighs, 12 cutters, and 1 omnibus. (1)

The 1874-1875 Dubuque City Directory stated that this business was located at 129 and 141 E. 7th.

The 1875-1876 Dubuque City Directory gave the address as 129 7th.
