ALTHAUSER, J. C. (Dubuque, IA, 1855--1925). A dealer in confectionery, toys and fancy goods at 844 Main Street, Althauser attended school in Dubuque and began his business. By 1915 he sold household goods.
He was a member of the KNIGHTS OF PYTHIAS and a director of the KEY CITY FIRE INSURANCE COMPANY.
