KEY CITY FIRE INSURANCE COMPANY. Beginning business on October 19, 1891, the company issued its first policy on November 14, 1891. Capitalized at $200,000, the company first operated from the Weigel Building. (1) Officers included Christian Anton VOELKER, president and William LAWTHER, Sr., vice-president. (2)
The company in November 1895 was one of the first to move into the new BANK AND INSURANCE BUILDING and occupied the fourth floor. (3)
