SCHWIND, B. J.
SCHWIND, B. J. (Dubuque, IA, Sept. 5, 1894-0rlando, FL, Nov. 1944). Prominent Florida businessman. Schwind, son of Benjamin J. SCHWIND, served as the director of the Plymouth Citrus Growers' Association from 1935 until the time of his death. He was also a director of the Florida Citrus Exchange, vice-president of the Plymouth Association, and director of the State Bank of Apopka.
Schwind received his early education in Dubuque at St. Patrick's and LORAS ACADEMY. He completed his legal education at DePauw University and was licensed in Illinois. He worked for many years in association with the Weiboldt Stores before resigning as secretary-treasurer and director of the company.
