KUTTLER, Charles A. (Prussia, Germany, June 13, 1844--Dubuque, IA, Mar. 6, 1916). Kuttler's parents emigrated to America in 1851 and moved west of Wisconsin. Kuttler came to Dubuque in 1863 and entered business as a wholesale dealer in fresh fish at No. 212 High Street.

Kuttler became the largest dealer in Dubuque and shipped east to Springfield and Decatur, Illinois and as far south as Atchison, Kansas.
