HENDRICKS FEED AND SEED COMPANY. Started in 1929 by Albert Hendricks, the company moved to 880 Central in 1942. Earl and Bill, Sr. bought the store their father. The third generation of family ownership in 2016 was Bill Hendricks. In 2019 the store had seven full-time and two part-time employees.

The business grew to include pet and garden supplies beyond is staples of livestock feed, seed corn, soybean seeds and fertilizer.

The business and Bill, Sr. were featured in the movie "Field of Dreams."
