BELL, Kristina (Dubuque, IA-- ). Kristina Bell was named Miss Greater Des Moines 2014. The pageant is a preliminary to Miss Iowa. The winner of the Miss Iowa pageant advances to the Miss America contest in September. Miss Greater Des Moines is an open pageant. Any potential candidate must go to school, reside or work in the State of Iowa. Her talent was jazz dance. Her platform was pursuing a heart healthy lifestyle & advocating for the American Heart Association.

In February 2015 she crowned her successor, Serica ROWLEY who was also a native of Dubuque.
