DUBUQUE ADVERTISER (THE). "The Little Paper with the Big Impact." A weekly shopper publication distributed in the Dubuque, Iowa area, the Dubuque Advertiser in 2008 had a circulation over 36,000 copies each week. In the publication, readers found consumer news from businesses in the area and a vast number of classified advertisements. The Advertiser was started in 1963 by Margaret A. AIRD and her husband, Jack AIRD.
