WALSH, James E. (Dubuque, IA- ). Auto dealer. Walsh, president of Bird Chevrolet, was the founder and president of the [[WESTSIDE BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION]]. He served as president of the Lions Club and as a director of [[FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF DUBUQUE]] and the[[ DUBUQUE BOYS' CLUB]]. Walsh received the first Project Concern "Man of the Year" award on September 18, 1973 and a plaque of special recognition from the Boys' Club in 1977.
