The 1886-87 ''Dubuque City Directory'' listed the corner of Couler and Eagle Point.


The October 28, 1875 ''Dubuque Herald'' described the new ice house [[HEEB, Anton|Anton HEEB]] had constructed. Measuring 53 x 63 feet, the building used 250,000 brick including enough to make the walls from 20-24 inches thick. The principal uses for the building were the storage of ice with "apartments" for hops and malt. A vault under the ice chamber was vented with flues to draw off the warm air. (1)


The 1886-87 '''Dubuque City Directory''' listed the corner of Couler and Eagle Point.

A. HEEB BREWING COMPANY. (Originally the DUBUQUE BREWERY)

The October 28, 1875 Dubuque Herald described the new ice house Anton HEEB had constructed. Measuring 53 x 63 feet, the building used 250,000 brick including enough to make the walls from 20-24 inches thick. The principal uses for the building were the storage of ice with "apartments" for hops and malt. A vault under the ice chamber was vented with flues to draw off the warm air. (1)

The 1886-87 Dubuque City Directory listed the corner of Couler and Eagle Point.
