RYDER, John. (Dubuque, IA--Dubuque, IA, Mar. 9, 1940 ). Ryder was educated in the parochial schools of Dubuque. He graduated from the BAYLESS BUSINESS COLLEGE and for twenty-five years was the junior member of the RYDER BROS. WHOLESALE GROCERS. In 1919, he organized the RYDER REALTY COMPANY and served as vice president until January, 1925, when he retired from the firm. (1)
