CINDERELLA. "Cinderella" was a special trunk owned by INTERSTATE POWER COMPANY that spread cinders on Interstate's principal bus routes during icy winters to ensure transportation.

The cinder truck began as a bus on the East Dubuque route in 1925 and was converted to the spreader in 1938. It was still in use in 1951. (1)
