FISCHER, Eldon F. (Dubuque, IA, June 27, 1869-- ). The son of Louis FISCHER and Caroline (Rhomberg) Fischer, Eldon attended grade and high school in Dubuque and was a student at the BAYLESS BUSINESS COLLEGE.
He became work in the linen department of SULLIVAN AND STAMPFER and later the Luger Furniture Company of North St. Paul, Minnesota. He was then employed as a bookkeeper by Fischer & Company and following the incorporation of the business served as vice-president. In 1933 he became the company president.
