WILLIAM WALCH. (Monona, IA-- ). Walch and his brother L. A. operated the Ford garage in Dubuque. In May 1913, it was announced that William was also a director of the reorganized Farmers Oil Tractor Company. An engine the company was having manufactured by the Union Iron Works of Minneapolis was soon to be manufactured in a new plant being constructed in a new plant located in Mason City, Iowa. (1) L. A. Walch sold the dealership in 1922. (2)

In November, 1915 sixty sub-agents were treated to a theater party and banquet. Vocals were performed by the Apollo Quartette and solos by Joseph Michel. Paul Bauens, blackface comedian, entertained the group with fancy dancing. (3)
