WAGNER, Cynthia. Wagner, a legendary girls cross country coach at WAHLERT CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL stepped down as coach in 2020. She had retired from the position of assistant principal after the 2018-2019 academic year.
She led the Golden Eagles to six state team championships and 14 top-three finishes. In the last eleven seasons, Wahlert had achieved five state championships and two other top-three finishes including a third-place in 2019. She also coached the track and field team from 1976 to 1999 and coached girls' basketball at Wahlert.
