UNION DUBUQUE FOOTBALL CLUB. When Union Dubuque was founded in 2017 by Cliff Conrad. The purpose according to Conrad, was "to build a community-centered organization that used soccer as a means of engage and bring life to the people of our city." The club competed in the Midwest Premier League, but its 2020 season was cancelled due to the PANDEMIC.

In April 2021, the club' officials announced that it was making the DUBUQUE SOCCER COMPLEX its long-term home. Previously the club had rented fields at DUBUQUE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL and LORAS COLLEGE. In returning to play in 2021, the team went 5-3-6.

On February 10, 2022, an announcement was made by the team's board members including Conrad, Jim Ott, Benjamin Warren and Stephen Zanias that Union Dubuque would not compete in the league and was temporarily suspending operations. Reasons given included financial commitments and family concerns.
