TELEGRAPH HERALD CO. In addition to publishing the newspaper, the Telegraph-Herald was a complete printing shop with a completely equipped job department and book bindery. The business kept twenty-eight traveling salesmen covering the United States and Canada and arrangements were made in 1904 to enter Australia.

The Telegraph Herald Company published hotel registers covered by United States patents and desks manufactured in desks by fifty employees.

The 1904-1905 through 1911-12 Dubuque City Directory located this business at the northeast corner of Main and 7th.

The 1915 Dubuque City Directory and the 1916-1917 White's Dubuque County Directory listed the corner of Main and 5th.

The 1934 Dubuque City Directory listed 8th and Bluff.
