STROBEL AND RATH PACKING COMPANY. The 1858-1859 through 1861 Dubuque City Directory listed Clay between 4th and 5th.
The 1861 Dubuque City Directory and 1868 Guide, Gazetteer and Directory of the Dubuque & Soux (sic) City Railroad stated that this business was located on Clay between 4th and 5th. The company was later carried on as the J. H. STROBEL AND SONS PACKING COMPANY.
