SILENT VIGIL FOR PEACE. Anti-war demonstrations organized during the VIETNAM WAR by Louise Herron HALLIBURTON and Mimi Vernon. Held in WASHINGTON PARK, the silent demonstrations were held weekly on Sunday mornings for seven years until the war ended.
