SCHUBERT, Fred ("Fritz"). (Dubuque, IA- ). Local film star. Known to many Dubuquers for his strolls about the downtown area, "Fritz" became a celebrity during the filming of F.I.S.T. when photographed with movie star Sylvester Stallone. Buttons made showing the picture became prized collectors' items. Several years later, "Fritz" had a role in the movie Take This Job and Shove It.
