SCHADLER, Joseph L. (Dubuque, IA, Nov. 1, 1939--Rock Island, IL, Feb. 24, 2014). The son of Milton and Margaret (Benhke) Schadler, Joseph owned the Queen of Hearts and the Princess riverboats in Davenport. Schadler and his son, Scott, operated Celebration River Cruises and the Celebration Belle.

An entrepreneur, Schadler also owned TACO JOHN'S franchises in Dubuque and Davenport, FASHION TOUCH ONE HOUR DRY CLEANERS in Dubuque, Mad Dog Amusements, and the Jubilee floating restaurant in Moline. He also provided tram tours at the Rock Island Arsenal.
