ROBINSON, Julia. (Dubuque, IA--Ontario, CA, 1930). President, League of Library Commissions. Robinson, who began her interest in library work at the CARNEGIE-STOUT PUBLIC LIBRARY, served as secretary of the Iowa State Library Commission for twenty-five years. As supervising librarian, Robinson directed all institutions under Iowa Board of Control.

Robinson served as president of the League of Library Commissions and for many years held the office of chairperson of the extension committee of the Iowa Federation of Women's Clubs. She was the author of the Library Efficiency Test.
