POINT DRIVE-IN
POINT DRIVE-IN. On June 2, 1954, Erwin Hareman opened the Point Drive-In and operated it for about a decade.
When it was put up for sale, the restaurant was purchased by Rich Mueller. In what became a family operation, Mueller ground his own beef and made his own hamburgers. His wife, Barb, prepared the food while their son and daughter did smaller chores.
The POINT RESTAURANT succeeded the drive-in.
The Point Cafe, remodeled and enlarged, at 2350/2370 Rhomberg Avenue was open in 2013.
