PARIS PAVILION CIRCUS. Unfortunately the date of June 24, 1873 placed the circus in town just before the Saegerfest which, along with the probability of heavy rain, cut attendance. (1) This circus was operated by Dan Rice who came to Dubuque with other circuses. (2)
