MOHRING BROTHERS

MOHRING BROTHERS. In 1895 the brothers, who performed as acrobats, were touring the country with the Barlow Brothers' Minstrels. They were looking forward to a performance in Red Cloud, Minnesota and then their first return to Dubuque in four years. (1)

In September, 1900 William Mohring, known professionally as Billy Brode, died of heart disease in the Alexian Brothers Hospital in Chicago. (2) The other brother, known to circus fans as Arthur Brandon, died in Paris performing with the Ringling Brothers Circus. (3)
