Dies to make trade tokens for the tavern.

JOE HILLARD TAVERN. The building was Charles Giese's Repair Shop in 1939, the year it was renovated to Frank Nelson's bar. From 1941-42 it was Charles R. Nelson's bar and then Frank Mangino's in 1945. The establishment was operated by Joe Hillard from 1951-1969 when it was sold. (1) It then became J & R Tap from 1972-1974, Jerry's Tap from 1977-1989, and Jimmy B's in 1993. (2)

The 1955 Dubuque City Directory listed 431 Rhomberg.
