IOWA. A Catholic publication for Iowa produced by the CATHOLIC PRINTING COMPANY, the weekly was printed in German. Founded on January 7, 1875, the Iowa was released every Thursday. It carried the subtitle "A Catholic Weekly for the Northwest of the United States" and the motto "In The Service of the Catholic Church--For Truth and Light."

The paper was discontinued in 1892.
