GREEN CAB COMPANY (#1). #1 Green Cab Company, a full-service taxi and delivery service, was started in October 2011 by Brett Hahlen, a native of Dubuque and graduate of STEPHEN HEMPSTEAD HIGH SCHOOL. The company offered specials throughout the year and loyalty cards to loyal customers. (1)

The firm operated twenty-four hours daily, seven days a week including holidays. While stationing their cabs at 27th and Jackson, the company serviced an area including: Dubuque County, Delaware County, Jackson County in Iowa; Jo Daviess County, Stephenson County, Carroll County in Illinois; and Grant County, Iowa County, Lafayette County, and Crawford County in Wisconsin.
