GRAVES, Lucy C. (Salem, MA-- ). One of the founders of the Northern Iowa Woman Suffrage Association, Lucy Graves was married to Julius K. GRAVES, mayor of Dubuque in 1867. Although only twenty-seven at the time she became interested in women's voting rights, she was accustomed to a life of wealth. The Graves' home was considered one of the finest in the city.
