GLOECKNER, Jen. Growing up in Illinois and Wisconsin, Gloecker moved with her husband to Dubuque where in 2017 she was recording music and enjoying rave reviews on the indie music scene. Her album, "VINE", released on Spinning Head Records featured 11 tracks described as "a sparkling display of near ambient psychedelia" by Clash magazine. Similar comments were made by Slug magazine and Rolling Stone.

Gloeckner was a musician to watch starting in 2005 with the release of "Miles Away." Her follow-up, "Mouth on Mars," was released in 2009. Believing the London-based recording studio Ten Little Indians, known for producing the work of Bjork, might be interested in her work she e-mailed them. The company signed her immediately and began directing Gloeckner's European releases. Her work was released independently in the United States. It was recorded at home in Dubuque and sent to Philadelphia for mixing.
