GILLOON, Marguerite. (Michigan City, IN, May 25, 1926--Omaha, NB, Dec. 25, 2011). Growing up in Chicago, Marguerite graduated from Mount Loretto Academy and then enrolled in CLARKE COLLEGE. While attending Clarke, she met and later married James E. Gilloon. She preceded her in death in 1990 shortly after their 40th wedding anniversary.

Marguerite Gilloon was committed to helping the unborn and women in crisis pregnancies. She was a founding member of V.I.T.A.L. (Volunteer Iowans to Aid Life), a predecessor of Dubuque County Right to Life Inc.
