GIANT FLOATER. Found widely throughout the upper MISSISSIPPI RIVER area and its tributaries, the giant floater can be found in ponds, lakes, and sluggish mud-bottomed pools of creeks and rivers. Its young finds hosts in green sunfish, largemouth bass, creek chubs, and orangespotted sunfish.
