FITZPATRICK, Leo H. "Oakie." (Key West, IA. Aug. 13, 1911---Key West, IA, July 8, 1995). A dairy farmer who also bred registered Guernsey cattle, Fitzpatrick was a pioneer aviator in the Dubuque area. In 1928, he was one of twelve founders of DUBUQUE AIRWAYS INC. and was the first local pilot to land at the present Dubuque airport.
