FERRING, Mark. (Dubuque, IA--- ). A National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) flight director, Ferring was the first flight director for NASA from Dubuque. Involved in many aspects of the space shuttle and space station programs, he traveled widely developing ways NASA could work with the space programs of other countries.
