FAIRFIELD INN
FAIRFIELD INN. Encouraged by high occupancy rates and the early success of riverboat gambling, Marriott Hotels announced in August 1991 that it would be constructing a Fairfield Inn, the economy-lodging branch of the popular hotel chain. The new hotel would offer 66 rooms raising the city's occupancy capacity above 1,600 rooms.
