EDWARD BUETTELL HOME-225 ALPINE. The contract to construct this home was signed in 1902. The building was completed in 1908-1909. The architect was Martin Heer while the contractor was Larois Witter and Son. The original cost was $3,419.00 not including sidewalks.

The original owner was Edward Buettell of the BUETTELL BROTHERS COMPANY.

Succeeding owners: Dr. Orvis-? through 1960

Jack and Elaine Kaufman-? through 1978

John and Carol Joslin-1978 through 1989

Richard Wallace-1989 through 2003

In May, 2004 the home was purchased by Bill and Angella Stoffel who directed major restoration of the property.
