EAGLE POINT BUCKET FACTORY. In 1890 Samuel Cupples & Company of St. Louis contracted for the entire production of this Dubuque manufacturer. (1) In December of that year, the company reported it had made 30,000 buckets and 10,000 tubs and had the material on hand to make 45,000 buckets and 15,000 tubs. (2)
In 1894 a sawmill constructed for the bucket factory was being hailed as another important employer in the community. (3)
