DUBUQUE SAND & GRAVEL CO. Dubuque Sand and Gravel Company was organized in 1908. Articles of incorporation were filed by John F. KILLEEN, president; Jacob J. Schreiner, vice-president; and Edmund J. Sauer, secretary, treasurer and general manager.

The business of the corporation was to acquire, buy, sell and deal in all kinds of sand, gravel, buiding material, and articles of general merchandise and commerce; to own, build, charter, navigate, buy and sell steamboats, barges, sand pumps and water craft of every description; rolling stock, real estate, machinery, vehicles, etc. and such other articles of personal property as the board of directors may deem advisable. (1)

The 1913 Dubuque and Dubuque County Directory stated that this business was located at the foot of 3rd.

The 1957 through 1962 Dubuque City Directory listed Sageville Road.

The 1980 Dubuque City Directory listed P. O. Box 325.
