DUBUQUE MOOSE LODGE 355. The local Lodge was instituted November 22, 1910 with membership by invitation only to provide social, family and community service opportunities in a fraternal setting. The Dubuque Moose supported Hospice, Albrecht Acres, Moose Youth Awareness (Kids Talk), St. Stephan's Food Pantry, SAINT MARK COMMUNITY CENTER, the American Red Cross, Little League Baseball, Tommy Moose (Teddy Bear) for the police and fire departments, the Thanksgiving meal offered by Donna GINTER, and Highway Clean Up.

In March 2005 when organization moved into their New Moose Family Fraternity Center at 2635 Windsor Avenue the membership grew from 275 to over 500 members. The new center also helped Women of the Moose increase their membership. The social quarters were larger and a children's room was added where children could watch videos, play video and board games and enjoy entertainment within sight of their parents.
