DONOHUE, James J. (Rev.). (Cedar Rapids, IA--Dubuque, IA, June 24, 1982). Father Donohue, member of the faculty of LORAS COLLEGE from 1933 to 1968, was a widely published author of such books as Chaucer's Canterbury Tales Complete, a companion to his translations of Chaucer's Lesser Poems Complete. He also wrote Hid Battlements, for the centennial observance of the ARCHDIOCESE OF DUBUQUE in 1937, Exile in the Stars, and The Theory of Literary Kinds.
