3460 Hillcrest

CREATIVE TOUCH GALLERY. Creative Touch Gallery was established in 1978 by Joe and Sue Kaesbauer with their daughter, Patti Johannsen. The business began as a "you-frame-it" with arts and crafts store. Painting classes were also provided. The Dubuque City Directory in 1980 through 1985 listed the address as 805 Century Drive.

The 1987 Dubuque City Directory listed 815 Century Drive.

The 1989 Dubuque City Directory listed Creative Touch Gallery and Frame at the same address.

The business moved to 3460 Hillcrest Road and expanded into an art gallery and full-service framing store, an idea of Bill Kaesbauer. The company was rewarded by receiving a first place award from Décor Magazine for outstanding gallery design.
