CHALOUPKA, Zella Groat. (Hokah, MN--Dubuque, IA, March 14, 1950). The widow of Joseph Chaloupka, Zella lived in LaCrosse, Wisconsin for many years before coming to Dubuque in 1887. She served as the Sunday school secretary at WESTMINSTER PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH for thirty-two years and served on the board of FINLEY HOSPITAL (THE), DUBUQUE VISITING NURSE ASSOCIATION, and the Milwaukee Railroad Women's Club.
