BREZINSKY, Karl. (Eastern Prussia, Dec. 25, 1824--Dubuque, IA, June 22, 1890). After serving an apprenticeship to a furrier, Brezinsky emigrated to the United States in 1855. He worked at his trade in New York and Boston.

In 1860 Brezinsky moved to Iowa and settled in Dubuque. He went into business for himself in 1864 at 590 Main Street as a manufacturer and dealer in furs. His business continued through 1880.
