BAUMAN, Clarence C. (Dubuque, IA, Jan. 31, 1908--Dubuque, IA, May 11, 1997). Bauman served his apprenticeship in printing at the Enterprise Printing Company in Dubuque beginning in 1920. He then went to work for the Telegraph Herald and served there for more than fifty years. He was a former member of the Dubuque Boat Club and served as president of the Printers' Union.
