ANDERSON-WEBER LINCOLN-MERCURY-TOYOTA. In 1997, Anderson-Weber was the oldest Toyota dealership in Iowa. Established by Bob Anderson and Les Weber in 1948, the company was first located at 880 Locust Street. The company moved to 13th and Iowa Street seven years later and in 1959 relocated to Railroad Street.

The 1962 through 1989 Dubuque City Directory listed 245 Railroad.

In 1997 Anderson-Weber opened its expanded location at 3450 Center Grove Drive in a 30,000 square foot building. Since beginning the sale of Toyotas in 1967, Anderson-Weber received the Toyota President's Award for quality sales and service in 1990, 1991, 1992, and 1995. In 1997, the company unveiled "Certified Cars," an Anderson-Weber innovation, offering buyers of used cars a six-year, 100,000 mile warranty.
